We're over a quarter of the way through the year and, after the past few years, it's heartening to see how many movie release dates there are still to look forward to in 2022.

Whether it's a slice of Marvel multiverse magic you're after, a Tom Cruise blockbuster, or even a surprise film that isn't on everyone's radars just yet, there are several days you should already be feverishly circling in your calendars in anticipation.

But the industry can be a fickle beast and incredibly difficult to keep track of. Movie release dates are often shifted at weeks' notice, there are delays, slips, and schedule movers and shakers. So, we've put together an overview of your year-in-movies with our 2022 movie release dates guide. Grab your popcorn and get ready. Cinemas are back, and there's plenty for you to go out and watch this year.

Need more to get excited about? Well then, be sure to keep up to date with all the new Marvel TV shows coming to Disney Plus.

I'm the Entertainment Writer here at GamesRadar+, focusing on news, features, and interviews with some of the biggest names in film and TV. On-site, you'll find me marveling at Marvel and providing analysis and room temperature takes on the newest films, Star Wars and, of course, anime. Outside of GR, I love getting lost in a good 100-hour JRPG, Warzone, and kicking back on the (virtual) field with Football Manager. My work has also been featured in OPM, FourFourTwo, and Game Revolution.
